The FFVII Calamity Wars Chronicles are a Final Fantasy VII text based role play that takes place two years since
the meteorfall crisis and the fall of Midgar.
Things seem to have changed, the world, the feelings, the morale, though
ultimately, everything remains the same. Sephiroth was supposed to have been finished after Meteorfall, but this was not the
case, as he revived but two years later, only to be killed again. After the Geostigma pandemic, life is seeming to return
to normal for the people of Gaia. Our heroes are living their lives, simply, and with little idea of any chaos that may come
their way. Shin-Ra Electric Company is starting over - recuperating from the collapse that should have destroyed their company.
With the revival of Shin-Ra Inc., they are learning to work with The Planet, rather than killing it.
Yet, there truly
is never a dull moment on Gaia. Peace is but a fleeting fantasy that the people of Gaia continue to hold dear to their hearts.
Tranquility comes and goes with the wind. Unfortunately, this planet is wracked with conflict after conflict. From a resurgence
in calamities, to cybernetic beings with a grudge, to vampiric entities with a thirst for world domination, to the rises and
revolutions of warring kingdoms. Gaia continues to have it’s share of problems.
It is not merely up to the heroes
of Gaia - Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Red XIII, Yuffie, Vincent and Cid to solve these problems - they can’t do it all on their
own.
